What is Micro Liposuction?

How to perform Micro Liposuction
Micro liposuction t is typically performed under local anaesthesia. Several very small (2mm) incisions are made in inconspicuous areas at the side of the face/beneath ear or under the chin to allow for precise fat removal whilst minimising scarring. A thin cannula (small tube) is inserted into the incisions to enable fluid to be injected in and deposits of excess floating fat to be suctioned suctioned out. The cannula is carefully maneuvered to sculpt and contour the face as desired.
What can I expect from my recovery?
Compared to traditional liposuction procedures, recovery after a micro liposuction for the face is more comfortable. Some mild swelling and bruising can be expected, but any discomfort can be managed with a dressing, cold compress and painkillers. Normal activities can be resumed within a 2-3 weeks after the procedure.
